Basic Rules

  1. All owners/handlers of dogs must pick up and properly dispose of their dog's waste.
  2. All dogs are to be licensed, vaccinated and at least 16 weeks old. (Rabies and Distemper are required) Kennel Cough is highly recommended.
  3. Dogs exhibiting hostile behavior towards other dogs or people must be removed from the park immediately.
  4. Only small dog treats allowed. Train and treat only your own dog(s).
  5. All trash is carry in, and carry out, including dog waste.
  6. Dog toys are allowed. If the toy becomes an issue, it must be removed.
  7. NO people food, smoking, alcoholic beverages or glass bottles are allowed in the park/playgroup.
  8. Children must be closely supervised at all times by their parent/guardian.
    1. Children should not be permitted to run, shout, scream, wave their arms or otherwise excite or antagonize the dogs.
    2. Make sure you are within reach of your child at all times.
    3. The park/playgroup is not a playground for children. Parents/Guardians are solely responsible for the actions and safety of their children.
  9. Handlers must be 18 years or older and remain within the park/playgroup at all times.
  10. No more than 3 dogs allowed per handler.
  11. Handlers must have a leash with them at all times.
  12. It is recommended that dogs be spayed or neutered. No females in heat will be allowed.
  13. Dogs must be leashed upon entry and exit of park/playgroup (This is City Ordinance, Chapter 15, section 15-16 Revised).
  14. NO pronged or choke collars are allowed inside the park/playgroup. Dogs must wear a flat collar or harness at ALL times while inside park/playgroup.
  15. Handlers need to refill any holes dug by their dogs.
