Basic Rules
- No people food, smoking, alcoholic beverages or
glass bottles in the park.
- All owners/handlers of dogs must pick up and properly
dispose of their dog's waste.
- All dogs are to be licensed and vaccinated (rabies
and distemper). Kennel cough is highly recommended.
- Children must be closely supervised at all
times by their parents/guardian.

to run, shout, scream, wave their arms or otherwise excite
or antagonize the dogs. |

The park is not a playground
for children. Parents/Guardians are solely responsible for
the actions and safety of their children. |
- Dog exhibiting hostile behavior towards other dogs
or people must be removed from the park immediately.
- The Handler must be 18 years of age or older and
remain within the park at all time.
- No more than 3 dogs per handler.
- Handlers must have a leash with them at all times.
- It is recommended that dogs be spayed or neutered.
- No females in heat will be allowed.
- Dogs must be leashed outside of the park (this
is city Ordinance, Chapter 15, Section 15-16 Revised).
- No pronged or choke collars should be on dogs in
the park.
- Only small dog treats allowed. Train and treat
you own dog.
- All trash is carry in and carry out.
- Dog toys are allowed. If the toy becomes an issue
it must be removed.
- Handlers need to refill any holes dug by their
dogs.
These rules were established for use
in the permanent dog park we are creating, but they must also be
followed during the Sunday playgroups. Thank You!
